Bangkok Screening Room or BKKSR is a new 50 seat alternative screening room located in a creative Woof Pack building on Soi Saladaeng 1 in Bangkok. The screening room is equipped with a high-end 2K digital projector, professional surround sound, and a bar with cutting edge design aesthetic.
BKKSR is Bangkok’s first alternative screening room to support independent films, pave the way for emerging filmmakers, and being a platform to promote cultural contents.
Presenting a vibrant program of independent film and documentaries, retrospective classics, and targeted niche film titles, the BKKSR will be a new hub for film enthusiasts and fans of international films.
BKKSR presents international classic films from the world’s leading directors, premier independent film studios, documentaries, and local emerging directors.
- All Thai or non-English language films curated by BKKSR will have an English subtitle. Films not in the Thai language will have a Thai subtitle.
- Focus on bringing a mix of featured classic film, independent short film and documentaries, and as a home for films to have longer theatrical life in parallel with, and beyond their run through mainstream channels.
- Curate special themes of film program, film festival, and pop-up outdoor screening event for our audience to enjoy.
- Offer support to film students and local emerging directors to be a platform to share their stories and achieve their film career.
BKKSR situated on a 2nd floor inside an exciting new creative hub four stories building called Woof Pack on Soi Saladaeng 1 (corner of Rama 4 Road) Bangkok, opposit from Lumphini Park. Easy access walking distance from both MRT Silom and MRT Lumphini with nearby limited parking spaces.
