Pu, a misfit young woman has dreamt of her dead mother building a house. A fortune-teller tells her that if the dream goes on, her father will die when the house is completed.

Her father, a karaoke regular playboy, meets a woman of his fantasy, Yok, a high class lady of the night who belongs to a young Chinese mafia. One of the mafia’s hit men, Noi, a half Thai Caucasian left behind by an American G.I., has a crush on Pu, but is too shy to ask her out. Pu cannot stop her dream of the house, while her father relationship with Yok cannot stop bringing him one misfortune after another. Will her father dies when the dream house complete, or is there any miracle happens to save him?

“the masculine flash of Scorsese, the sensuality of Wong Kar-wai, the deadpan wit of Jarmusch, the madcap folksy whimsy of the Coen Brothers, and even the the rock 'n' roll sensibilities of Tarantino are all apparent.” - Wise Kwai Thai Film Journal
